Over the years and with the help of Joyce Meyer (more on that in a minute), the practice of filling a blank sheet of paper with all the things I am thankful for has helped me to be more grateful in all areas of my life. Sometimes, it's a page in my journal. Sometimes a sheet of sketch paper that gets posted where I can see it. Sometimes it's a walk around list- inspired by Joyce Meyer. After hearing Joyce share a rather humorous perspective on having a machine that washes and dries our dishes and yet, somedays we can't even muster up the energy to empty it... was born the walk around list- going through a routine day and thanking God for all the little things that do make life easier : )
Whichever method, let's do it as we go through this Thanksgiving. Each of you reading this is at the top of my list. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a writer and while some might argue that blogging is not writing, it's close enough for me. Before a post is published, you are in my thoughts and prayers...as you will be throughout this weekend...Happy Thanksgiving!
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
